The two-storey Villa Tolo can be described more as a solid branded sneaker than a chic trendy sandal. It shares the glittering sea nearby and the asphalted (and sometimes audible) access roads with other country houses: a perfect fit, robust with colourful accents, durable, comfortable, real value for money. The right footwear to whisk you away on a successful holiday in Mallorca, to the covered terrace adorned with bougainvilleas next to the house with direct pool access, to the large balcony on the first floor with views of wooded hills and the sea blue, to the small green lawn for sunbathing or up the stone steps into the garden under your own orange trees. And of course you can go hunting for specialities for a proper barbecue in any weather. Only small children will find these shoes too big, as the pool is not secured and therefore poses a potential danger.
This is a Fincallorca holiday home.
If you like walking barefoot over cool tiles on hot summer days, there is more than enough space on two floors; the tiled staircase leading to the four bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs is a step-by-step gem. Tolo has been partly furnished with antique wooden furniture in classic Mallorcan style, combining solid value with bright, warm colours. The light streaming through the many windows also lends the room a certain weightlessness. In the large living room with XXL TV and fireplace, you can sink into the soft cushions or sit together at the long dining table in front of the kitchen, which is primarily a working kitchen. A further guest room with bathroom rounds off the ground floor area and one of the double rooms on the upper floor can also be used as a triple room if required. The practical aspects are in the foreground; the villa is a place to live and feel good and is not intended to be an exhibit or catalogue item. If you want to move freely in and around the house and along the lively east coast, you should definitely put Villa Tolo on your shortlist!
Cosmopolitan cities were built on seven hills, so little Son Servera can easily keep up with varying differences in altitude. A few narrow alleyways lead steeply up to marvellous views of the nearby coast, which beckons with sandy beaches, dunes and huge stalactite caves. On hot summer days, the promenade of Playa de Sa Coma offers shady shelter. Between Cap des Pinar and Punta de sa Roca, there are numerous bathing spots and promenades around the coastal towns of Cala Millor, Sa Coma and S'Illot. In the heart of the country, the forest area around Sant Llorenç des Cardassar invites you to go hiking, cycling or horse riding and, with a bit of luck, you will be accompanied by cormorants, peregrine falcons or turtles on a popular circular route through the varied nature park of the Llevant peninsula. Don't forget to pack hiking boots AND flip-flops or sandals ...
Our secluded, rustic Finca Tolo is located on the popular east coast with numerous beaches, on the edge of the village of Son Servera, with good transport links, sea views and shopping facilities just 2 km away. The Ma-4040/4042 will take you to the picturesque streets of popular Artà in less than a quarter of an hour. Interesting coastal towns (from idyllic to glamorous) and beach gems such as Cala Millor, Cala Bona, Costa dels Pins and Cala Agulla as well as the child-friendly sandy beach of Sa Marjal are also within easy reach. And almost on your doorstep, Pula Golf awaits you for a real tee-off.
