The main city of the island – Visby – is a sight in itself. The city of roses and ruins attracts a great deal of visitors each year whereas one of the main sights is the well-preserved medieval city wall. Visby is along with its wall listed as a UNESCO world heritage. As the only city on the island, Visby also has a great selection of culture and activities. It does also offer a wonderful selection of quality restaurants. The food culture has for years been a topic here and Gotland as a whole offers culinary experience during both the summer as well as the rest of the year.

Or do as approximately 100 000 other visitors do each year: take a trip to the Lummelunda cave. If you are interested in birdlife, skip on the ferry from Klintehamn to the Stora Karlsö island. More than 250 species of birds have been spotted here.
