Budva Riviera | Holiday Villas and Apartments

The Budva Riviera, with its approximately twenty mile long coastline from Jaz to Buljarica, is one of the most popular holiday destinations not only in Montenegro but in Europe. Montenegro's largest and most beautiful beaches are found in a landscape of numerous bays between the limestone cliffs and protected by the Lovcen mountain chain from cold north winds. Nearly two miles of the Budva Riviera are fine beaches, of which Mogren, Becici and Petrovac are the most famous. Individual beach sections are awarded with the Blue Flag; an international award awarded for clean waters, high quality service standards and good environmental management at the beaches. Some of the beaches are open to the public, while the others are accessible only against fee.

The town of Budva

Budva is a beautiful coastal town, situated in the heart of the Adriatic coast of Montenegro. The city is one of the oldest settlements on the entire Adriatic coast. The historic old town of Budva, known for its red roof tiles, was built around 500 BCE.

Its most famous buildings are the three-nave church of Saint John the Baptist and the Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity. A medieval city wall surrounds the old town. All around, it offers beautiful views of the surroundings. The wide variety of cultural activities and facilities for young and old make Budva a particularly popular holiday destination, especially among cultural lovers. The famous citadel in the old town is the square where many concerts, theatrical performances, literary ceremonies or art exhibitions take place.
