Welcome to Stølsheimen, one of the most beautiful mountain areas in Nordhordland. Here you’ll find unspoilt nature and a wealth of wonderful walking trails. The house is situated just a few metres from the lake and has a small rowing boat available to borrow free of charge. There are few fish in this lake, but there are plenty of other excellent fishing spots in the mountains. The house has a large covered terrace where you can enjoy lovely summer days with stunning views and barbecue your catch of the day. The autumn colours in these mountains are stunning, and many people come here to capture the most beautiful photos. Stordalen Fjellstove is about 4 kilometres from the cottage. There is a restaurant there, and you can buy fishing permits. If you’d like to go on an excursion from the holiday home, we recommend driving along the Sognefjord and visiting some lovely spots along the way. It’s also possible to take the ferry across the fjord to the charming village of Lavik. If you’re looking to spend an adventurous holiday in a magnificent mountain landscape, this is the place for you. It’s about 75 metres from the car park to the holiday home.
