This cosy holiday home is beautifully situated close to the woods, right in the heart of lovely Jutland.
The interior is lovely and well suited to a family. This accommodation is also ideal if you’re on a business trip. There are plenty of activities to enjoy in the surrounding area: golf, fishing, cycling through the woods, walking through pastures and canoeing. You can also relax by swimming in Lake Søby, just a 5-minute drive away, which is particularly child-friendly.
The house is not far from the lignite deposits in Søby, a vast area of sand dunes and deep lignite pits, all set against a magnificent natural backdrop. Søby also has a lignite museum, which we highly recommend visiting. The nearby town of Herning is a great place to go shopping. Don’t miss Ingvar Cronhammar’s sculpture ‘Elia’ – from this spot you’ll have a magnificent view of the countryside. Cultural attractions include Boxen, which offers a wide range of concerts and sporting events. DGI-Byen features a lovely swimming pool. In Haunstrup, you can visit Jyllands Park Zoo. So there’s something for all ages.
