This lovely small holiday house is situated on a hill which overlooks the nice seaside resort of Ascea Marina, in the heart of the beautiful region called Cilento (natural reserve). The holiday house offers a private garden and a large terrace where you can enjoy your outdoor meals. The accommodation is simply but at the same time practically furnished. Thanks to its hillside location you may enjoy a beautiful view over the surroundings up to the sea situated at a 3 km distance only. The area of the Cilento in the region of Campania, in the south of Italy, between Paestum in the north, Sapri in the south and the Vallo di Diano in the east is to be considered an insider tip for all those who love the authentic Italy far away from the mass tourism. Here you will find lots of small, characteristic hamlets in the hills which offer beautiful panoramic views, elegant seaside resorts with free and equipped, sandy beaches or small secret bays with crystal clear water, where you will enjoy your aperitif on the Piazza or a promenade along the touristic harbour. All those who love art and culture or naturalistic activities will find their very special place. Thanks to the pleasant temperatures of the air and the sea even in the late springtime and in earlier or later autumn, this region is interesting not only for your summer holidays, but also for a beach holiday in low season. In Ascea Marina don't miss to take a walk over the footpath called "Sentieri degli Innamorati", a footpath between the sky and the sea which offers beautifuls views. Here you will also find large, free or equipped, sandy beaches, and, in the nearby Velia at abt. 3 km distance only, the interesting archaeologic site. More southwards in the Cilento don't miss to visit the marine caves of capo Palinuro. The last 300 m of the access road are unpaved. Residence with entertainment in 150 m distance (as the crow flies).
