On the Bigge reservoir (15 km) you can explore various water sports, including scuba diving, sailing or windsurfing. Cologne and Koblenz are just one hour away by car and offer themselves as beautiful destinations for a day trip. The Westerwald is a particularly beautiful nature area, and the surrounding places invite you to wonderful strolls and hikes. The Camino de Santiago, the pilgrim route which leads to Santiago de Compostela in Spain are located only 2 km from the house. Approximately 35 km away from this accommodation is Altenkirchen, where there are a variety of themed hiking trails, including a path especially for children. The nice cottage is located on beautiful, peaceful grounds at a dead end. This accommodation is ideal for nature lovers and families with small children. The half-timbered house is centrally heated and an antique wood-fired heating place is located in the living room. Behind the house you will find the friendly owner’s small official vineyard in Rhineland-Palatinate. The charming cottage on the hillside, which is exclusively for your use, is surrounded by a beautiful garden.
