Your vacation home is located on an enclosed 900 sqm nature plot directly at the forest where you can find enough space for recreation and relaxation alone or with children. During the day you can explore the surroundings on foot, by bike, with your own car or by public transport. In the immediate vicinity of the house passes one of the steepest railroad lines in Germany, the Rübelandbahn. On special weekends, the traditional train with steam locomotive runs on this railroad line to Rübeland and back. A special experience are trips with the Harzer Schmalspurbahnen e.g. to the Brocken or through the Selketal. With the narrow-gauge railroad you can enjoy the Harz landscape in a relaxed way or integrate individual sections of the route into your outdoor activities.
At the Rappbode Dam you can explore the dam wall and the facility from the suspension bridge or during a ride on the double rope slide, including an adrenaline rush. In addition to Wernigerode and Quedlinburg, you should also visit Thale with its Bodetal Adventure World, cable cars, summer toboggan run, mountain theater, the Bodetal thermal baths, the Hexentanzplatz and the Roßtrappe. On hot days, a hike from Treseburg through the Bode Valley to Thale is recommended.
