35 km north of Avignon and 18 km from the village of Uzès and the Pont du Gard lies Gaujac. Surrounded by hills and renowned vineyards, stones, bricks and wooden beams tell the story of this charming village. With its listed castle, the ruins of a city wall, its chapels and fountains, Gaujac is ideally suited for soaking up the typical ambience of Provence. Active vacationers have a number of options to choose from: Tennis, golf, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing on the Cèze or the Gardon, the crocodile farm in Pierrelatte, the gorges of the Ardèche, the bamboo garden of Anduze, a trip through the Cevennes with a steam locomotive or the Haribo factory in Uzès. A great experience is also the Pont du Gard, 18 km away. This 48 m high and 360 m long aqueduct is a masterpiece of ancient architecture and was correctly declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Also 18 km away you can visit the beautiful Château de Saint-Privat. Orange (30 km) impresses with a number of ancient buildings, first of all a Roman theater and its three-arched Roman monumental gate. Avignon (35 km) is dominated by a mighty palace complex which, instead of Rome, was for a time the seat of the Pope. Its famous bridge, ramparts, churches and chapels also contribute to Avignon's unique atmosphere. Nîmes (40 km) with its monumental parkland Jardins de la Fontaine as well as its market halls and Roman arenas is also worth a trip.

This resort 100 m from the village center and 2.5 km from the nearest shopping facilities welcomes you green nestled in the hinterland of Provence. Its 56 charming cottages include accommodations for 4 people, 5/6 people (FLG414) and 6/7 people. The properties have a kitchenette, a separate toilet or one integrated into the bathroom, a furnished terrace and air conditioning/heating. The resort's 10 x 15 m outdoor pool and paddling pool are open daily from 9am-1pm from mid-April to the end of September, but until 8pm in summer, depending on the weather. Other free on-site activities include tennis and table tennis. Rental of rackets and balls subject to availability. Provision of baby crib and high chair subject to availability.
