Can't decide between the mountains and the sea? If you choose this villa, you won't have to: In the background, the typical hills of the unspoilt northern Mallorcan countryside rise into the sky, offering such a natural picture that you wouldn't be surprised to see a herd of wild horses galloping past. And if you turn your gaze 180 degrees on the marvellous covered terrace, you can enjoy the immensity of the sea. Without a doubt, this roof terrace with its spacious seating and sunbathing areas is an ideal place to work on your tan while letting the gentle breeze blow around you. If you wish, you can enjoy the turquoise-coloured pool. With a little imagination, the garden's varied vegetation can make you feel like you're in a small jungle lake. Take your tan to the next level on the cosy rattan loungers or play a round of cards at the stone table in a secluded corner of the garden. Stairs lead you to another, slightly higher terrace, where you will also find tables if you fancy a barbecue. Barbecuing on the terrace with a view of the sea is a special experience that you will remember for a long time to come. Just like an unforgettable morning yoga session on the roof while the rising sun bathes the landscape in golden light.
Thanks to the large windows, you can also enjoy plenty of sunlight inside the villa, creating an unrivalled, altogether bright and friendly interior. Some antique pieces of wooden furniture, such as a chest of drawers where you can write your postcards, harmonise wonderfully with the wicker seating area, and beautiful individual pieces such as the rustic wooden living room table create a natural feel. In the living and dining room, you can not only enjoy the view of the centrally positioned fireplace, but also enjoy a wonderful film evening or a delicious meal at the solid and dignified wooden table. Chic floor carpets ensure a cosy atmosphere. On the bar stools in the modern kitchen next door, you can sip your first coffee or enjoy a muesli to recharge your batteries for a wonderful day. You can also access the wonderful outdoor area from here. The three double bedrooms and two bathrooms are also located on this floor. As you can see from the photos, its timeless, simple elegance goes hand in hand with appealing pictures of nature on the walls. The bathrooms have also been newly renovated. The tower room, located one floor up, is an absolute highlight of the villa and a place where you can relax comfortably on a sofa or read a good book in a rocking chair, while the roof terrace is just a step away.
This part of the bay of Alcúdia is known throughout the island thanks to its natural, often deserted coastline. The small village of Betlem is rather sparsely populated, so you can enjoy a high degree of privacy despite the easily audible road that runs alongside the house. All the more so as it is only a few steps to the sea, where you can be lucky enough to have part of the beach almost to yourself, even in high season. Betlem really is a good starting point for walks or cycle rides along the coast. One of the paths leads you to the bay of Punta d'es Calo, which is only 3 kilometres away and is perfect for a wonderful day at the beach. Shopping is best done just 4 km away, in Colonia de Sant Pere. Here you will find several supermarkets as well as bars and restaurants along a small beach and marina promenade. The location of Villa Pinomar, with its round tower and the Appalachian-like hill in the background, is both spectacular and very close to the sea. The idyllic village of Betlem belongs to the municipality of Artà and is just a few steps away from the sandy beach. Shopaholics will love Artà; we recommend you visit the market on Tuesdays too. You can also enjoy delicious fish in the nearby fishing village of Colonia de San Pere. There are several restaurants along the pretty harbour promenade.
