There are many activities near the Locks, and it is the ideal starting point to discover the Canal du Midi, where it is possible to sail for an hour, a half-day or a whole day, if you rent an electric boat with your family or friends. You can also discover the canal on foot, or by bike. An audio-guided tour is also available to help you discover the history of the Canal and the 9 locks. For the more relaxed visitors, the banks of the Canal are dotted with benches, where you can sit and admire the incredible view of the St Nazaire cathedral of Beziers. Ranked among the "most beautiful private gardens in France", the garden of Saint Adrien in Servian offers 4 hectares of Mediterranean verdure, rocks and water to explore. There is also lots to do on a trip to the Golf course of St Thomas, 10 minutes from the beaches, with 18 holes that challenge you on a terrain both wooded and hilly ... For those lucky enough to visit in August, La Feria de Beziers is an unmissable event: near a million people go there to celebrate the bullfighting arts, a huge party in the heart of the city is held from 8pm, with a lot of entertainment, but also equestrian shows with music.
