Description

This charming cottage is situated in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Poperinge in the West-Flemish countryside, 3 miles away from the Belgian-French border.
The holiday home has a bright hall that leads into the spacious and modern living and dining area with an open-plan fully-equipped kitchen. The property is thoughtfully furnished up to a high standard and the large windows on the living room will flood the house with natural light.
It includes five bedrooms (two of them with bathroom), hosting up to thirteen guests, two bathrooms and a room with sauna. It also has an adjoining building with a spacious living area and games room with billiards, table football and darts.
The property also boasts a large furnished garden surrounding the house, with an outdoor dining area with barbeque facilities where guests can get together and enjoy an alfresco meal. It also includes a playground area for children to play.
For cycling and hiking lovers, this region offers plenty of opportunities. There is a mountain bike and a walking route in front of the door. Historically, the region is very important, since the trenches war happened around Ypres and Poperinge.
For children, a visit to Plopsaland De Panne or Bellewaerde theme parks is worth. Trips to Lille, which is only half an hour away, and to the coastal town of Veurne is also recommended. The best beer in the world "Westvleteren" is brewed in the eponymous Trappist monastery.
This holiday home is mainly intended to receive family groups. Non-family groups can still be accepted, subject to agreement of the owner and any doubling of the guarantee. Groups of young people under the age of 25 are not admitted.
