The heating of the house is electric, but the primary heat source is a wood pellet stove in the living area (pellets can be purchased in the house). The garage is locked and is not available for your use. Not far from the village is the large lake Slivsø, a popular gathering place for all kinds of birds from kingfishers to sea eagles.
