Here you can fish in the mountain lakes rich in fish and hike through the great natural terrain. Not far from the house you will also find a play park for the little ones. Hillestadheia is considered a snow-sure area, and in winter there are groomed trails and cross-country skis for rent. Walk along the Sentrumsloipe, which passes, among other things, the Elvarheim Museum, where you can see exhibitions about hunting & trapping, collections of knives and stuffed animals, and a violin-making workshop.
