Not far from Bale is the former fishing village of Fazana, from where the boat sails to the only national park in Istria, Brijuni. Brijuni is a group of islands and islets that will delight you with its unspoiled nature and numerous facilities such as a safari park, a golf course and countless beautiful beaches. For culture lovers, we recommend a visit to the coastal towns of Porec, Rovinj and Pula, known for the remains of the Roman Empire and the Venetian rule. The hinterland of Istria attracts all lovers of active vacations, where you will find numerous cycling and hiking trails. You can also visit the Motovun forest, where you can go hunting for Istrian truffles. After a busy day, visit one of the many taverns and restaurants where you can taste traditional dishes and end the day with a glass of the best Istrian Malvasia.
