In the seaside resorts of Blåvand and Vejers, also within cycling distance, you will find child-friendly beaches. You can also visit the large Filsø nature reserve, where bird observatories have been set up. A network of signposted hiking trails on the west side of the lake leads visitors through the reserve. From the Nørre Enge car park it is possible to reach the Petersholm bird tower via a ramp.
