Holiday apartment at 1 Km from Portacomaro, in the heart of the Monferrato area, with view over the surrounding hills and the Alps, on clear days. In shared use: a large terrace equipped with garden furniture and barbecue to enjoy outdoor dining. Portacomaro is a small district in the province of Asti, in the Monferrato area, declared UNESCO heritage. This area of Piedmont includes the provinces of Alessandria (40 Km), Asti (9 Km) and it’s renowned for its landscape rich in castles and vineyards, with fascinating towns, excellent wines and many delicacies. Various local festivals enliven the territory all year round: the Palio of Asti in September, the Siege of Canelli (34 Km) in June and the Truffle fair at the end of October in Moncalvo (18 Km). For castle enthusiasts we suggest Costigliole d’Asti (23 Km), with its famous castle built before the XI century and the Castle of Burio (26 Km), dating back to the XIV century. Between September and October, during the grape harvest, you may attend themed weekends organized by the wine makers to spend your day in the vineyards and enjoy the evening with an exquisite dinner with local wines and traditional dishes.
