Juelsminde for a shopping trip is not far away, the marina has several restaurants and the town is center of coziness. The beach right outside the front door invites you to doze, swim or play a water sport in the summer. Your children will surely love to build sandcastles. Also make nice trips, here you have many opportunities to do so. For example, to Juelsminde Golf Course, to the islands of Hjarnø and Endelave (day trip) or Horsens (20 minutes by car) with many cultural experiences and events. Your children will definitely want to go to Legoland (less than an hour by car). You are very welcome.
