Poland is a country rich in history, and over the years has been growing into a popular tourist destination! With a growing infrastructure and tourism sector, this destination makes for an exciting vacation!
Poland villas – Krakow
Our Poland villas are partially located near the city of Krakow. Located near the southern border the Czech Republic, Krakow was the capital of Poland until 1596. Krakow has traditionally been one of the leading centers of Polish artistic, academic, cultural, and economic life, and is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.
The first place we recommend visiting is the Old Town’s Main Square, located in the city center. This is the largest market square in Europe, and was originally used as an important trading location. Also located at the main square is St. Mary’s Basilica. Entrance to the cathedral is very cheap, and it definitely worth the money! The insides are decorated with bright blue and gold walls – we also recommend climbing up the Basilica’s 239 steps to the top for amazing views of the city.
An interesting attraction near our Poland villas is the Wieliczka, a 700-year old underground salt mine. The mines are huge, with a size of over 300 kilometers. You can book tours of the mines; they usually last around two hours, where you can explore chapels carved out of the rocks, chambers, and even lakes.
Finally we highly recommend visiting the Jewish Quarter, one of the nicest neighborhoods in the city. You can visit the old synagogue in Krakow and learn about the quarter’s extensive and somber history.
Poland villas – Warsaw
Our Poland villas also give you and your loved ones the opportunity to explore one of Europe’s most fascinating cities, Warsaw. In 1945, over 85% of the city was destroyed during World War II. The city was rebuilt to its former glory, an incredibly impressive effort achieved by the Polish. Visit the Old Town, the historic city center full of untouched architecture and monuments, as well as the Town’s Market Place. This area allows you to explore the culture and history that this city has to offer!
We additionally recommend visiting Łazienki park, the excursion of choice for local families and couples. The park started out as serving for royal baths, and developed fully by King Stanislaw II Augustus. The park is dotted with monuments of famous Poles, as well as villas and the Łazienki palace.
Poland villas – Gdansk
We additionally have a plethora of villas in Gdansk! We strongly recommend visiting this city while staying in our Poland villas! From St. Mary’s Church, a large Gothic church started in the 14th century and reconstructed after World War II.
There’s additionally the main town hall to visit, to enjoy the work of 16th century Dutch architects. Finally, make sure to stop by Neptune’s fountain, built in the 1600s. The fountain’s sculpture shows the god Neptune bowing his head. With so much to do close to our Poland villas, your holiday is bound to be an unforgettable one!
