In the surrounding area, a visit to the university city of Wageningen is worthwhile. After only 15 minutes you can reach beautiful woodlands and the floodplains of Nederrijn. In the nature park Planken Wambuis you can take beautiful walks and watch deer and roe deer. Other exciting destinations in the area are
Ede, Bennekom and Arnhem.
