In the center of Vorden there are several inviting restaurants and stores. Visit Vorden Castle and take beautiful walks through the extensive forests around Vorden. On the many hiking and biking trails you will get to know the beautiful nature and the unique landscape in the Achterhoek region. For example, follow the famous Achtkastelenroute in Vorden and cycle past Hackfort Castle, De Wildenborch Castle and the gardens of Huis de Wiersse. Also visit other beautiful villages in the Achterhoek and Bronkhorst, the oldest town in the Netherlands. For a day of shopping, visit the beautiful cities of Zutphen and Deventer. From this vacation home you can also visit Apeldoorn, where you can find the Paleis Het Loo, the zoo Apenheul and the amusement park Julianatoren.
