Enjoy your vacation in this cozy furnished chalet right on the water. The chalet has a spacious terrace, which offers a panoramic view of Lake Lauwersmeer during an outdoor meal. The open kitchen is connected to the living room. Life jackets are provided. For a fee, your boat can be launched into the water. Washing machine shared and for a fee to use. Take your time to explore the fabulous surroundings. The chalet is located on the Lauwersmeer National Park, where you can admire the stunning open landscape and rare birds. Visit the nearby fishing port with information center or relax on the beach of Lake Lauwersmeer, just 500 meters from the vacation home. To Pieterburen it is only 20 km. It is a small village and starting point for mudflat walks. It also houses the famous seal breeding station. The port of Zoutkamp and the town of Dokkum are also very worthwhile destinations. Along the way, you will pass vast meadows and traditional farms. During your vacation, be sure to visit Schiermonnikoog, a characteristic mudflat island with a varied landscape, beaches, dunes, forests and wetlands. The chalet is located within walking distance from the ferry to the Wadden Island Schiermonnikoog. During the months April - October you can board directly at the property for a boat trip across the Lauwersmeer.
