The villa is located in Epen, one of the southernmost villages in the Netherlands. In this vacation home, a conventional sauna for 6 people and an infrared sauna for 2 people are available for a fee in the basement. There is also a recreation room with a jaccolo game, a dartboard and board games. One of the bedrooms concerns a bed alcove for 2 persons. The owner occupies a separate part of the house and of course respects the privacy of his guests. The villa is a cozy group accommodation in the beautiful Geul valley, where you can wonderfully switch off. Epen has many half-timbered houses, which you actually see more in Germany. If you want to explore the beautiful Limburg hills, you will find well laid out bike paths and numerous hiking routes. An interesting experience is the use of the steam train, on the trip you can admire many beautiful views between Schin op Geul, Simpelveld and Kerkrade. If you prefer to explore the area with your own car, you should follow the 110 km long Mergelland route. Burgundy's Maastricht with its cozy shopping facilities is only 25 km away. Within 1 hour by car you are also in larger cities like Brussels, Liège, Aachen, Cologne or Düsseldorf. You should not forget the smaller town of Valkenburg, the famous castle ruins and the marl grottos are absolutely worth seeing.
