This beautiful property right on the water and the harbor is an excellent starting point for water lovers. The amusement park "Waterrijk Den Oever" is located on the island Wierhooft.

On the island are recreational houses built in the American beach house style. The houses create a nice contrast with the surroundings, but perfectly fit the maritime character through the use of materials and soft pastel colors. The house is modern and has a cozy living room that overlooks the water, where many boats and water sports pass by. From the luxurious bathtub in the upstairs bathroom you can overlook the harbor and relax. Both the front and back of the house face the water. The back garden is completely fenced and will also have a fenced jetty in the future, so children can run around safely. But also the front garden invites with garden furniture and a barbecue for sociable summer evenings.

Marina Den Oever is located directly on the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea. North of the marina is the Hofmanshaven. This is a shallow lake directly connected to the IJsselmeer, where you can practice water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing and swimming. From Wierhooft you can take beautiful bike rides or spend a day hiking the mudflats. Places like Den Oever and Den Helder are very close by. From Den Helder you can take a boat to the bird island Texel.
