Beerze is a charming village with original farms. In the surrounding area there are many forests and cycling and hiking trails. Near the vacation home is Ommen, an authentic town on the Vecht. An indoor and outdoor swimming pool can be found at Camping Beerze Bulten, 1.5 km away. During high season this pool is closed for day guests. The recreational lake De Oldemeijer with sandy beach is about 9 km away. If you want to fish during your vacation, a trout pond is only 1 km away. The vacation home is located about 14 km from the border with Germany. Take a walk through the nature reserve Itterbecker Heide (20 km) or visit the inviting German city Nordhorn (46 km).
