Summer

The actual hiking area around Veysonnaz extends in a southerly direction to the high Alps of the Valais. If you are on Veysonnaz? about 300km long hiking area, you will enjoy pure nature. You will also be able to encounter many freely grazing cows. These are harmless, no cattle will attack you, but rather let you pet them. A large area of Veysonnaz's surroundings is protected thanks to intact flora, fauna and meadows. Pulling out silver thistles or gentians as souvenirs is not appreciated.......

But tours in the high mountains are also possible. The "Bisse-de-Vex" for example, a 12km long Suone (water conduit) from the 15th century, has been elaborately restored. Winter

As soon as snow falls in winter, Veysonnaz becomes a winter sports paradise. It is part of the ski area of the "Four Valleys" ("Quatre-Vallées") with about 400km of perfectly groomed slopes. On the "Piste-de-l'Ours", above Veysonnaz, many World Cup races are also held. A spectacle beyond compare for the spectators! The huge ski arena of the "Quattre-Vallées" stretches from Veysonnaz and the adjacent ?les-Collons-Thyon-2000? over Nendaz, the Mont-Fort (3330m) to Verbier and La Tzoumaz.
