Visit the city of Crotone with the Temple of Hera Lacinia, the Archaeological Park and some ancient wall remains buried by the waters of the sea. One of the symbols of Isola Capo Rizzuto is the Aragonese castle, located in the village of Le Castella. The ancient building dates back to the fifteenth century and stands on a small island connected to the coast only by a thin promontory. Also worth visiting are the medieval villages of Santa Severina, with museums and historic houses. Diving enthusiasts have the possibility to use the numerous underwater routes of the protected marine area to discover natural beauties, but also archaeological treasures.
In the hinterland there is also the National Park della Sila, a mountainous area with peaks up to 2000 meters high, full of forests, lakes and wildlife that promise you maximum relaxation while hiking.
