The apartment is not far from the old town, the subway, the Arc de Triomphe, the staircase of the three caravels of Christopher Columbus, the theater, the imposing cathedral, museums and the port with possibility of boat trips to Portofino, the Cinque Terre area or whale watching. The characteristic old town, with buildings from different eras and narrow streets, offers numerous stores and typical restaurants: ideal for shopping and feasting. The old town is also home to the historic noble Palazzi dei Rolli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The second largest aquarium in Europe is located at the old port. The railroad station is 400 meters away and allows to reach by train the most beautiful beaches and places of the Liguria region. The important historical building Palazzo Ducale hosts numerous art exhibitions throughout the year. We suggest you to taste the typical flavors of Liguria: the extra virgin olive oil, the pesto (the popular basil sauce), the farinata di ceci (chickpea pie) and the focaccia (Ligurian flat bread with olive oil and lard).
