Don't miss a visit to the ancient hamlet called Castellabate (UNESCO World Heritage Site), located about 280 meters above sea level, which dominates the entire bay of Santa Maria di Castellabate. This medieval mountain village was mentioned for the 1st mail in 1123, still today, as in the past, it is a labyrinth of ancient little houses, romantic alleys, stairs, small squares with breathtaking panoramas and hidden trattorias or small bars. The "piazzetta", or village square, is the meeting place of both the inhabitants of the village and some vacationers, also here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding hills, while the wide view of the sea from the Belvedere di San Costabile completely captivates the viewers, especially during sunset.
