This vacation accommodation near Ovaro, in the province of Udine, is ideal for guests seeking the tranquility of the mountain. The municipality of Ovaro, in the channel of Gorto, along the river Degano, belongs to the elevations of the Carnic Alps on the road that leads to the passes of Croce Carnico and Comelico. It is part of the tourist complex Zoncolan. From here you can reach the historical site of Carnia, visit various museums of the area and discover the local gastronomy with handmade salami, cheese and smoked ricotta. On foot, by bike or ski you can discover the territory according to your own sporting preparation: lakes, alpine villages made of stone and wood, ancient churches and caves await you, in addition to the "malghe" (typical buildings) where you can taste products of own production. In winter, for skiers and mountain lovers, the ski lifts on Monte Zoncolan are about 10 km away, ideal for cross-country skiing and downhill skiing (27 km). About 20 km away in the village of Paluzza there is a cross-country skiing ring (10 km long). In summer, in the direction of Comeglians, you can reach by car the "Panoramica delle Vette", a 30 km long road that reaches 2000 m on the mountain Coglians. Here you will find countless high altitude paths, alpine pastures and the small lakes of the region. It is 26 km to the thermal baths in Arta Terme, whose sulfurous waters have been famous since Roman times. You must visit the historic villages of Venzone, Udine or Cividale del Friuli (whose historic center is a Unesco heritage site). On the coast there are Trieste, Palmanova and Aquileia. The house is on two floors with a small garden. Arrivals only between 4 pm and 7 pm. The accommodation is located on the main road that connects Val Degano with the green Pesarina valley, famous for its clock production. The house owners live on the first floor.
