The swimming pool and terraces are at the heart of the villa, with a barbecue for al fresco cooking and sunloungers for relaxing and enjoying a good book. Inside, the ground floor layout is open plan with the kitchen, living and dining areas connected to the outside by patio doors, and a double bedroom and separate bathroom. Upstairs the two bedrooms each have ensuite bath/shower room and a private balcony boasting wonderful vistas of the sea and surrounding countryside. Skala is a colourful former fishing village that has gradually spread out up into the hills with a great variety of eateries and shops, and small café bars for playing backgammon and people-watching at its heart.
