Upstairs the bedrooms boast those splendid views from the balconies and both bedrooms are en suite. The main village of Skala is a short drive away with a long stretch of beach large enough to offer water sports as well as unspoilt swathes of sand. There are plenty of tavernas and shops to choose from, and it comes complete with the church bell tower next to the village square, while antiquities dating from Roman times are housed in a small museum. Kefalonia has plenty to offer, and Villa Eva is just the place to explore it all from.
