This elegant villa offers stunning panoramas of the pretty inland village of Poros to the east and immediately below it, the horse-shoe shaped Mikri Gialos beach with the glittering Ionian Sea as a perfect backdrop. Situated in an elevated location, and surrounded by green fields and orchards, the five minute drive to the beach is down a simple winding road and opens onto the beach with a couple of seafront tavernas and a mini-market to hand. Set on two floors, the French "Provencal" style interiors are tasteful and offer spacious country living with the main living, dining and kitchen areas flowing out through patio doors onto the swimming pool terrace. The twin bedroom on the ground floor has an ensuite bathroom and opens onto a terrace, whilst on the first floor the double bedroom also benefits from an ensuite bathroom and a balcony great to soak up the amazing views while enjoying a coffee or maybe a glass of something cold on the summer evenings. The traditional village atmosphere in Poros offers cobbled streets and a charming ambience of years gone by, this is complemented by the more laid back atmosphere of the beach front, where the pebble beach has crystal clear waters great for snorkelling and water sports for the adventurous. A delightful base to explore the Southern Lefkas coastline, Melpomene combines comfortable, relaxing interiors with a larger than average swimming pool, a barbecue and wonderful sunsets. .
