Villa Gionis is a new two-bedroom single-story villa with wonderful outdoor space and a large swimming pool. It is set amongst the olive groves in a quiet and tranquil area, yet is within walking distance of several of the best beaches on the island and the beautiful harbour village of Loggos with its good selection of taverna, bars and a supermarket. The villa has been built to a high specification and is extremely well-equipped. There is an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room, with large French windows opening out on to a covered terrace, from where steps lead to the garden and pool, and two en-suite bedrooms, one a twin and the other a double. Villa Gionis boasts some truly wonderful outdoor space with several different areas for enjoying the sun or shade in your own part of this unspoilt area of the island. There is a large pool, a good al fresco dining area and a built-in BBQ, all set amongst lovely gardens. From the villa it is just a 20-minute walk or five-minute drive to the picture-postcard village of Loggos with its good choice of tavernas, cafes and bars set around the lovely harbour. The village also has a supermarket and several smaller shops, and it is possible to hire a wide range of motor boats and more powerful speed boats, which offer a lovely way to explore the island. The larger villages of Gaios and Lakka are both about a 15-minute drive. The villa is also in a great location for exploring the countryside, coast and beaches around Loggos on foot, as a number of paths and tracks, including those to four of the island's most beautiful beaches (Kipiadi, Kipos, Marmari and Levrekio) lead directly from the villa. These shingle beaches are beautifully clean and wonderful for swimming and snorkelling, and, with the exception of Levrekio which has a taverna and umbrellas, are completely uncommercialised.
