Based on one level, it is ideal for those not wanting to climb stairs, and also features Roman steps into the swimming pool so easy access for a swim or just to cool down in the midday sun. Surrounded by greenery, the lawn, gardens and swimming pool terrace encompass a traditional two bedroom house which delights with its comfortable, welcoming ambience and has contemporary decor and all modern comforts. The main living, dining and kitchen areas flow into each other, with plenty of space to relax in, and the twin and double bedrooms continue the subtle shades of greys,lilacs and whites to create a feeling of peace and calm. A sturdy barbecue stands to one side of the swimming pool ready for grilling and barbecuing, and there is a open covered dining area for lunch around the pool. Lakitrha has a handful of eateries and a couple of mini-markets for essentials, so an evening stroll makes a change from driving to try out the local cuisine, then when the urge to explore further afield beckons there are three lovely sandy beaches Ai Helis, Ammos and Avithos within a 10 - 30 minute drive, each with a beachside taverna. Kefalonia is a magical island to explore, however, if the main aim is to chill out, wind down and recharge the batteries, this pretty villa meets the requirements.
