The swimming pool at front of the house comes complete with a barbecue to one side so plenty of time for outdoor dining, under the stars. Located on the outskirts of charming Vasilikades village, with several local tavernas, a village shop within walking distance and surrounded by rolling green hillsides, a slower pace of life welcomes, relaxes and refreshes even the most weary traveller. Alaties and Ai Jerusalem beaches are a fifteen minute drive each with a beachside taverna for leisurely lunches and famous Myrtos beach down the coastal road is a must to experience, whilst picturesque Fiscardo is definitely worth a couple of visits. The fifteen minute drive to the harbourfront goes through tiny hamlets with fruit markets and Greek churches everywhere, then the pristine port has splendid quayside restaurants and shops to discover. Thanks to strict preservation orders any new properties must adhere to the traditional guidelines and makes the village at the heart of Kefalonia's nod to history and sweet Anesis villa is a wonderful addition to that heritage.
