Tucked away in the tiny hamlet of Katzarata near Fiscardo, the peaceful countryside villa has lovely sea views and a great location. The nearest tavernas and a mini market are in the neighbouring village of Manganos a few minutes drive or a twenty minute walk, whilst Fiscardo is a ten minute drive. The villa's traditional Ionian pastel beige exterior has a wonderful wraparound swimming pool terrace, with the pool at the front of the house, and a cool covered dining area at the side, with linen curtains that flutter in the breeze, keeping out the sun, during lazy lunches. A handy barbecue makes al fresco dining a joy and the splendid vistas of sky and sea add a relaxing atmosphere to the villa. The open plan living dining and kitchen area on the ground floor flow into each other; a spacious, comfortable size that opens onto the swimming pool terrace. Upstairs there are 2 double and 1 twin bedrooms and a shower room. The very pretty curved bay of Foki Bay is the nearest beach a 10 minute drive and a popular pastime in the Northern tip of Kefalonia is to hire a small horsepower boat and explore the many secret coves and bays along the coastline, or catch the ferry over to the pretty island of Ithaca and do a spot of island hopping!With an open side feature with a lining of trees, this beautiful pool is truly unique. We encourage guests not to stand, sit, or walk on the edge and be mindful of children using this area. We recommend that inflatables are not used within this pool. This property may not be suitable for families with young children.
