The swimming pool, pool terrace and lawns are surrounded by fir trees for privacy whilst a simple path runs alongside the hedge to the road and the beach. The action tends to centre around the barbecue and swimming pool for lots of outdoor dining and lazy days spent relaxing round the pool, followed by sauntering along to the beach side tavernas in the evenings. Classic décor inside has a French vibe, with soft pastel hues and rustic touches such as dried herbs hanging in the kitchen, the main ground floor living and dining area comfortable and inviting, whilst the double and twin bedrooms on the first floor have traditional rustic wooden furniture and balconies to drink in the stunning sea views. Set in an enclave of five villas, the vast stretch of sandy beach continues out to a narrow strip of land where deserted windmills still stand, a haven for kite-surfers who fill the skies in the height of summer. Lefkas Town is a 10 minute drive and worth exploring with tiny cobbled streets leading back from the packed harbour front. Gorgona is a beach lovers dream!Please note that the balcony railings have larger gaps in places and if children are present, be mindful of them at all times and discourage climbing the rails.
