The beach is a 3 minute drive away with plenty of other beaches along the sunny coastline of eastern Rhodes to explore; Tsambika, Antony Quinn Bay and Ladiko beach a 10 minute drive to name but a few, and there are some beachside tavernas cafes and bars close by whilst Afandou village with a couple of supermarkets is also a 10 minute drive. There is a real hustle and bustle about it with the local community popping into the popular village from the surrounding regions. It's worth discovering Rhodes town, famous as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the old Medieval town is wonderfully atmospheric, or for the youngsters, a popular water park promises hours of fun.
