Description

This small and simple apartment is located on a beautiful garden park in Schwalenberg.    The living room has a sofa bed for up to two adults, in the open loft there are two more beds for children. However, these are not suitable for small children due to the steep ladder.  The balcony offers a nice place for the first morning coffee.    The apartment is the ideal starting point for adventurous. Whether hikers, cyclists or cultural tourist. You can reach from here in just a few hundred meters both the old town of Schwalenberg and that excellently signposted network of hiking trails of the High Mörthes (446 m), on the plateau of the largest raised bogs in northern Germany was. In just a few hundred meters are traditional restaurants, z.T. with art exhibitions, galleries and studios that keep the traditions of Schwalenberger Malerkolonie still alive.    Your apartment is located in the western Uplands, near the southern slopes of the Teutoburg Forest. In addition to the natural attractions of this water and foliage forested low mountain range you are here in one of the richest cultural landscapes in Germany. Around you lure the German Fairy Tale Road, the road of the Weser Renaissance, the World Heritage Site Monastery and Castle Corvey, the Fürstenberg porcelain factory, the largest open-air museum (the Westphalian Open-Air Museum in Detmold), the external stones, the Hermann Monument and much, much more.    Many spas in the area lure with very different attractions. For example, offers the nearby Staatsbad Pyrmont in addition to its famous palm garden Hufeland Therme, an animal park and the castle also so unusual attractions such as an extractor cave and sinkholes.
