Bekerwitz is a small district of the municipality of Hohenkirchen with a high tourist orientation. Located between Wismar and Boltenhagen on the Wohlenberger Wiek, centrally located on a peninsula, where you can spend a wonderful relaxing vacation in the countryside with your family and/or friends. The vacation home offers you within walking distance of several fine sandy natural beaches, the European Baltic Sea Cycle Path in front of the door, in the immediate vicinity the golf course Hohen Wieschendorf, several riding stables, sailing, surfing and kiting areas with schools, the Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen, the Hanseatic city of Wismar (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the island of Poel with shallow beaches. With the good connection to the A20 you are in Lübeck, Schwerin or Rostock in about half an hour. Anglers will find here at cod, herring and garfish times an ideal accommodation near the fishing grounds.
