Here you have a lovely and cozy holiday home with a private pool and enclosed garden in Prades-sur-Vernazobre, situated 40minutes away from the beach. The top floor is where you will be residing, accessible by external stairs. You will land on a covered terrace where you will be able to enjoy your meals while gazing at the beautiful view. The unusually-shaped swimming pool is surrounded by tempting sun loungers and their pillows, as well as a big parasol and an electric barbecue. Beautiful walks await you in this Languedoc region such as the St Martin de Dounaro trail, a charming 3h hike accessible to all. The Minervois region offers many adventure-filled activities like the 1500km trail ride by mountain bike or an all terrain scooter accompanied by professionals, a great way to discover the picturesque Haut-Languedoc. There is plenty of speleology to be done too with the “grotte de la Fileuse de verre” in Courniou, as well as the Lauzinas cave with its fossilised mushrooms or the Macoumé cave with its very own Sistine Chapel. Or perhaps would you prefer a Via Ferrata from where you’ll have exceptional views over the Massif du Caroux, the Gorges d’Héric and the Orb valley. Other activities include canyoneering, white-water walking and swimming, abseiling and enjoying natural slides along an enclosed river be it with family, friends or fellow sportsmen. These can even be practiced by night. If you are looking for a refreshing break during your cycling tours, the Fréjo spring is ideal, as is the Roquebrun beach perfect for children and the Gorges d’Héric. An important piece of information for those looking to stay over during the third weekend of July and the last weekend in August: given the fact that this villa is situated in the heart of the village, it will be in the midst of the village’s annual and very animated festival. An advantage for some, while others may find it bothersome. Up to you to decide !
