You will feel at home on this beautiful terrace with a magnificent view of the village, surrounded by beautiful peaks in the background, while enjoying a small glass of wine and a plate of seafood in the sun. For a peaceful vacation in Languedoc, you are welcomed to this ideally located villa. Note that one of the 3 bedrooms has bunk beds. The lower bed measures 1.80 x 2.00 and the upper bed measures 1.40 x 1.90. Laze on the various terraces and enjoy the pool and barbecue area. From the house you can reach the village center in fifteen minutes on foot.
The spa town of Lamalou-les-Bains is located at an altitude of 200 meters in the heart of the regional nature park in Haut-Languedoc and is a popular tourist destination. It is located near the sea, between vineyards and mountains, just 50 minutes from Valras-Plage and 1 hour from Cap d'Agde. Its historical heritage rich and its exceptional climate captivates. The spa town offers the opportunity to relax, thanks to sessions of well-being and regeneration in the wellness area (short cures, whirlpool, aquagym, etc.), which are a beneficial time out. Dr. Charcot has particularly emphasized the quality of water cures. Many visits can be made: the Priory of Saint-Pierre de Rhèdes with its Roman columns and its magnificent relief, a monument of Romanesque art of the 11th and 12th centuries, or the Golf Lamalou (9 holes) on the edge of the forest between trees and ponds.
Don't miss a visit to the Musée de la Sonnaille & Cloche in Hérépian (4 km), which will acquaint you, among other things, with the various techniques of casting church bells. Follow a stretch of the Voie Verte Passa Païs (80 km), which runs from Mazamet to Bédarieux, and discover the vineyards, forests, meadows, waterways, tunnels and bridges. A bridge was built by Gustav Eiffel and is only for use by pedestrians, bicycles, horses, roller skaters. Or do you prefer the Gorges de Colombières (6 km)? It was dug by a torrent from the massif of Caroux. Or the gorge of Héric (13 km) with its very deep notches in the rock? It is the starting point of many climbing routes.
The village of Villemagne l'Argentière (7 km) with its Gothic church and the Devil's Bridge from the 18th century, Bédarieux (9 km), a stage on the pilgrimage route to Saint-Jacques de Compostela, Pézenas (36 km), at the crossroads between the beaches of the Bas-Languedoc and the hinterland of the Hérault, are worth a visit. And of course Béziers (39 km), the capital of the Languedoc wine region, awaits you with its pretty streets, the locks of Fonséranes and its magnificent cathedral. It will take you 1h15 to Montpellier, 1h45 to Carcassonne and 2 hours to Spain.
