From Collias you can start a tour by canoe. Visit the Pont du Gard, a majestic aqueduct with several splendid swimming spots nearby. Within a half-hour drive, the bamboo garden of Anduze and Uzès and its ducal palace are also worth a trip. During your visit to Uzès, you should also stroll through the colorful market on the Place aux Herbes to be tempted by regional products and produce such as wines and cheeses. Wine lovers will find numerous wineries and vineyards in the region, and 23 km away, Nîmes boasts a wealth of Roman buildings that are on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Concerts are regularly held in the ancient arenas in Nîmes, and you can also discover an archaeological museum, the Temple of Diana, the Maison Carrée temple, and the monumental Jardins de la Fontaine park.
