Description

This holiday apartment is located on the first floor of a family house in Muntić, near Pula. It is functionally furnished and spacious. There are three rooms, one of which has no window, a well-equipped kitchen, a large air-conditioned living room and a beautiful terrace, where you can have your morning coffee and plan daily activities. At the same time your children can play in the shared garden and enjoy the rural peace and atmosphere. Take the opportunity and visit ancient monuments from the Roman period in one of the nearby tourist centers. In nearby Valtura you can see the remains of the oldest settlement on the peninsula, the former Illyrian capital Nesactium. Today it is a kind of archeological park with preserved architectural remains of ancient and late antiquity. Visit nearby Pula where you can see many sights from its long history. The most impressive buildings in the city date back to Roman times. In addition to the Roman amphitheater better known as the Pula Arena and the well-preserved Temple of Augustus at the Forum, there are the Dirke mosaic and the triumphal arch of Sergius. If you drive west you will come across the town of Vodnjan. A polenta festival is held here in July during which you can taste this dish with a variety of sauces. Visit the Basilica of St. Blaise with the tallest church tower in Istria and an enviable collection of mummies. We recommend a day trip to the Brijuni National Park. From the small fishing village of Fažana, boats depart for this famous archipelago, which has a unique flora and fauna.
