The holiday park 'Les Doyards' is situated in a peaceful location on the shores of a lake in Vielsalm. The apartments and bungalows on this 14-hectare site offer a nice view of the lake and the pyramid. Your children can play freely in the park or cycle around it, as the park is almost entirely traffic-free. Although the lake is one of the great attractions of the place, swimming is not allowed here. A higher deposit is collected for youth groups and school classes. The centre of Vielsalm and its shopping area are within walking distance of the park. This place also attracts visitors in winter, because it is ideal for skiing, sledding and cross country skiing. Vielsalm is situated in the north of the Ardennes, a region with charming villages which offers numerous tourist and cultural attractions. Explore the beauty of the Ardennes on the 200 km long, marked hiking and cycling trails or ride through the wooded area of Bèche-Fa on a mountain bike. In Mont-Le Soy you can go biking and cross-country skiing. You can also go for relaxing walks and trekking adventures with your family on the shores of the river Salm, which meanders beautifully through the landscape.

Houffalize is a typical Ardennes village in the Ourthe Valley located about 25 km south of the famous town of La Roche-en-Ardenne. Towards the end of WW2, the famous, failed Ardennes Offensive of the German Wehrmacht took place here under the code name Panther. This idyllic place still attracts a large number of tourists, not only due to the important, historical events but also because of its astounding beauty. The forests and cultural landscapes here are especially beautiful and very good for hiking.
