It is located at the foot of a cliff, nestled idyllically on the banks of the river Ourthe. Strolling down the lovely cobbled market place is a special experience. The narrow streets are lined with buildings with impressive facades and many speciality shops. You can also take a ride on the wagon or the local tourist train and explore the city. Throughout the year, numerous events are held in Durbuy, including flea and art markets. The area also offers sports enthusiasts a variety of water sport activities in the vicinity of the Ourthe. These include exploring the steep slopes on mountain bikes, a high ropes course, climbing, miniature golf, horseback riding, hiking and quad biking. Marche-en-Famenne, located just 16 km away from the park is also worth a visit. Here you can admire the old town and the church of St Remacle. If you want to visit a big city, then you can take a trip to cities like Liege and Namur, with stopovers in the beautiful villages on the way and the town of Assesse Crupet.
