This cosy and charming cottage is located in the middle of the countryside, just a few kilometres from the village of Watou, famous for the Arts Festival in July, the local beer and lovely cycling tours through the West Flemish hills. The Belgian-French border is located around 10 kilometres away. The holiday home has five bedrooms (sleeps up to fifteen), a cosy kitchen and an open-plan living/dining area that leads into the lovely furnished garden outside where guests can enjoy an alfresco meal while admiring the amazing views of the surroundings.Cycling lovers are looking forward to excursions to the various hills; the most famous is the Kemmelberg. Lovers of a good beer will also be satisfied: the famous Hommel and Watou beer and the famous Trappist beer from Westvleteren are brewed nearby. Children will love this area too: there is the Bellewaerde amusement park in Ypres, the well-known Plopsaland in De Panne, and in Poperinge there are indoor pools. In good weather you need only half an hour to get to the beautiful sandy beach of Braye-Dunes just over the border with France.
