Description

The cottage Clos du Baron is a manor house situated in a beautiful location on a hill, just outside the village Barbençon in the province of Henegouwen (Hainaut). A small recreational lake, the Lac de Barbençon, is located at the foot of the estate and just 300 metres away from the house. The Lac de l'Eau d'Heure, the largest lake in Belgium, is only 5 km away. The whole region south of Barbençon is a huge natural area with large tracts of forest and is ideal for walking and hiking. You can also visit the famous places nearby, like Chimay, Couvin, Mariembourg and Virelles. Barbençon is a part of the Beaumont municipality, which boasts of cultural events, beautiful city walls and good restaurants that cater to every taste. The mansion Le Clos du Baron is perfect for family gatherings or reunions. The house can accommodate more than 24 people. There is a sauna in the right wing. This home offers a very romantic atmosphere. The interior is furnished in style and with great attention to detail. The house Clos du Baron is primarily intended for family groups. However, non-related groups are also accepted with the consent of the owner and with a possible additional deposit. Groups of people under 30 are not permitted.
