The ground floor of the house is split-level, with a large stylish living room and a kitchen 4 steps lower, with doors opening onto a large, raised terrace affording views across the very pretty cottage garden and local countryside. In the distance you can see the distinctive towers of the medieval cathedral at Dol de Bretagne - a picturesque market town with cobbled streets and half-timbered houses. The local coastline is renowned for the great distance between high and low tides, the beaches are very popular for wind and water sports, including kitesurfing and sand yachting, as well as for bathing at high tide. The coastal path which extends west to Cancale and east into Normandy, is perfect for a stroll, birdwatching or choose a shore side café and sample the local seafood.
